Book Review: The Perpetual Papers of the Pack of Pets by Stanley & Katrina

Title: The Perpetual Papers of the Pack of Pets
Author: Stanley & Katrina
Published by: Createspace (2012)

My Rating: ✭✭✭✭✭

What a great, quick read! This book was brimming with imagination, humor, and creativity. The writing style was SO creative, the way it switched from letters to other perspectives and more. I loved this book so much! It had an element of humor to it, and I laughed many times throughout this book. Despite all the imagination that’s going on here (the story is about pets who talk) it is written with a touch of reality so the story seems believable. If pets could talk, this is how they would be!  The author dove right into the minds of animals and the outcome is amazing.

Plot: The story is about Katrina, a cat, and Stanley, a dog, who live together. At first they are very wary of each other, but soon they come to know each other better. The book, through letters and more, follows the two pets’ adventures as they go to the Kitty Court, then as they play outside, then as they are entered in a Pet Show they absolutely despise. This book was very short but absolutely fantastic! It was incredibly creative and written very well. The characters (pets) were hilarious and fun! I am looking forward to the second book and would recommend this to anybody and everybody!
